| Martin Martinez, a renowned spray paint artist based in Dallas, TX is presenting his unique style of painting at the US Space and Rocket Center during the summer of 2003. Originally part of a presentation to the International Teachers of the Year the prior year, Martin's stay at Space Camp was extended that year as he became the "hit of the camp." After viewing his amazing paintings and listening to his inspirational message, Martin received a tremendous response. Teachers from around the globe walked out of Space Camp with Martin's paintings in hand. Martin does his paintings with a style and flair rarely seen. Using spray paint and no brushes, he creates cosmic landscapes of amazing detail as he paints to a techno beat. |

Martin donates a lot of his time speaking to students about the benefits of "staying in school". He has given presentations and speeches to many schools throughout the Dallas area, the state of Texas, and several other southern states. During his presentations, he details his life experiences and motivations. After creating a couple paintings for each group of students to "grab" their attention, he impresses on them the importance of education as he describes his journey from a troubled youth to a successful businessman. Martin uses his gift as an artist to give back to the community by inspiring the kids to stay in school, respect their parents and teachers, and become a future successful part of our society. |
